The solution lies with Bome's Mouse Keyboard which turns your QWERTY typing keyboard into a piano.

The software is postcardware.
Send him a postcard of where you live and he sends you the code to get rid of the nag screen (15 second delay) at the program's bootup. I sent him a postcard of Boracay and he loved it.

VIRTUAL MIDI KEYBOARD (only 647 kb)

which lets u move controllers with mouse *while* pressing QWERTY notes! Also allows toggle of sustain with shift key but no chords
There is also a virtual MIDI slider available there (which i have not tried).

You will also need MIDI YOKE as the virtual MIDI CABLE to connect your QWERTY keyboard to your REASON software.
