here are a few ideas for you with FL, a PC keyboard, mouse and gamepad taken from an email by IAN "Morse" MAGBANUA of Drip :
PC KEYBOARD
With "typing to midi" turned on (ctrl+T), and the very flexible FRUITY
KEYBOARD CONTROLLER (FKC), you can create switches and virtual knobs.
I for example, use it to map the whole two octaves to a filter sweep
(fruity parametric eq controlled by FKC). so by pressing Z all the
way to U... you can do a filter sweep. basta minsan pakita ko sayo.
Or you can use the FKC's elasticity to control the FL's master pitch
slider. turn on the "release" button on the FKC, set the "current
key" and "auto release" knobs to 0.500 (center value). right click on
the master pitch and link it to the FKC. press anywhere between Z and U and your pitch should change correspondingly. release the key and it'll automatically go back to center.
imagine the possibilities.. madami pa yan.
MOUSE
link it up to the FRUITY FORMULA CONTROLLER, choose the mouse position preset (Y-axis), take any linkable knob or switch (i.e. channel mute). link it to the formula controller. move your mouse up and down, watch as the mute goes on and off.
paochec has seen me use my mouse to scratch
GAMEPAD
turn on fruity x-y controller and you've basically got 5 extra
controllers. assuming you've got a logitech rumblepad with throttle,
you'll have X, Y, throttle, rudder horizontal, and rudder vertical).
x-y controller has an absolute setting. parang release ng FKC. move a slider and it'll go back to default automatically when you release the slider... good for pitch controlling.. among other things..
use your imagination from there.. dami pa yan
hope this helps.
