i found this while browsing in youtube... here's the link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VVX8FIYpqE"Uplifting trance created while board at work. The backing track is Ableton live manipulated with an Edirol PCR-M30. The lead lines are from the Roland G70 and the piano sound is played on the PCR midi keyboard. Everything is live and made up as I go along, using this technique in my live set means I can play any of my tunes in any order, like a DJ selecting a vinyl. It also means I can make the track as long or as short as I like, if the crowd like it, ill make it longer! ... (more) (less)"

yep kaya ok tlga ang ableton para sa live (basing on the features, and the reviews on it). i wonder how it fairs sa recording/sequencing tracks? it does have multitrack recording reatures on it right? if yes, baka gamitin ko din sha to record for vocals. thanks for the info anyhow kurlie =)

hi mark, yeah astig ang ableton live for live.. heheh kaya nga ata live. anyway, as an amateur and aspiring producer, i have compared the sounds rendered from ACID pro and Ableton. I was producing a particular song one time. I first laid the tracks down sa ACID pro, ok lang medyo satisfied naman ako, pero when i tried to arrange it using ableton LIVE.. mas crisp yung sound.. di ko alam kung dala lang ng puyat yun. pero mas nagandahan ako sa sound nung Ableton. As for recording vocals.. yep ableton has that feature. what i like about ableton kasi magaganda yung effects both midi and audio. i love their ping pong delay.. hehe.. siguro what you can do is make your music in reason, and pagandahin mo sya sa LIve

as of now mark im using ableton live 5, (version that cannot be mentioned coz its a "you know what" kind of software) hehe.. anyway, yep as ive said nagamit ko na yung non linear multitrack editor nya, as for the recording yeah once... nagrecord ako ng guitar (guitar was connected directly sa line in ng aking soundcard which is not much but a sb16 card) and then after recording the raw clean sound of my electric guitar (its a korean made FERNANDO strat-like, bought it at JBmusic 8 years ago or more, for 5,000)... i post processed it with AMPLITUBE (guitar and amp modelling software from IK multimedia) and added more sound mangling with ableton live's audio effects you wanna listen to the finished recording? pakinggan mo HEAVEN AND EARTH www.soundclick.com/demoleecelestial
